ALADS Secures 1 Year Contract Extension

On February 12, 2009 ALADS signed a one year contract extension (02/01/2009 - 1/31/2010) with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. It protects our pay and all other existing MOU provisions, including the 611 MOU sick time buy back in July 2009 and the $1000 uniform allowance in December 2009. It also incorporates the agreement with the Los Angeles Courts for 22 CA's in the lockups. All other Safety unions representing L.A. County employees followed ALADS lead and also signed a 1 year extension.
Fringe benefit negotiations will begin mid to late this summer.
